These next few updates won't be super exciting, but they'll be steps towards the next phase of the game. We'll announce more as we get closer to this goal.
- Added parties Native players can now interact with the totem to protect weapons and tools they have crafted themselves >AFTER THIS UPDATE ONLY<, which will make them unlootable (only one weapon type at a time)
- Fixed some recipes that require cooked sausage not being craftable
- Fixed war axe and labrys axe throwing
- Gun bullet trails now replicate to all players just like arrow trails
- Increased amount of rewarded experience when completing a bounty
- Rounded profession experience gained to nearest whole
- Fixed item description displaying "Creator creator" for named items that were crafted before update 8.0 (hopefully)
- Fixed combat tag notification being inaccurate (hopefully)
- Fixed respawn button not working
- Fixed dead animals despawning while a player is skinning it
- Fixed antlers not being removed from inventory when used in a crafting recipe
- Pastry dough can now be crafted and sold to Jean Taylor
- Fixed R keybind not working for multiple actions
- Projectiles now go through flax plants
- Fixed crossbow Buckets, shovels and spiles are no longer lootable
- Fixed latency issue on melee parry effect
- Cloaks and capes now hide knapsacks
- Updated honed cape model (hopefully)
- Fixed items sometimes getting stuck in hands
- Shovels can no longer be used in the native camp
- Changed reload speed of some weapons
- Fixed ranged weapons not hitting targets when the origin (as example the barrel) starts inside the target
- Large player props can no longer be built in populated zones
- Fixed players not being able to pick up their contract crates, treasure chests or sleds after leaving and rejoining the server
- The role selection menu now displays the last location of the player
- Fixed treasures hunts spawning within the fort Rupert zone Update zone entrance title, which will now remain at the bottom of the screen as long as the player is inside a zone
- Fixed carriables (items, crates, chests, etc.) falling through the ground when the carrier leaves the game
- Fixed players having to move their mouse when dropping an item to interact with the next one that appears under the mouse
- Beaver meat can now be sold to the hunting shop
- Tool actions now take priority over any other action (as example, filling your quiver with F will take priority over taking and equipping and item on the ground)
- Increased odds of getting a better reward from treasure chests
- Fixed visual bug related to storing and taking stacked items in a market stand
- Fixed mouse getting unlocked when chatting while a weapon is selected
- Tucker Davidson no longer offers contracts
- Fixed bread pudding not being craftable
- Fixed snow digging behavior, no more infinitely deep foxholes
- Fixed treasure chests potentially spawning in spots that are not diggable
- Fixed latency issue on shovel digging effect
- Infinite loading screens will now be logged so that we can investigate them for a fix. You will be kicked from the process so you don't have to guess if you're wasting your time waiting.
- Supplying contract crates no longer respawn when purchased
- Added limit to how many bags of pounds can be dropped on the ground in a short amount of time
- Bandages no longer give the option to self-heal when health is already full
- Equipped items on the item wheel can now show if they are lootable in their current state
- Reduced sound radius of tools such as axes, pickaxes, knives, etc Increased range of bedrolls. Furthermore, the use of tents will make their range large enough to respawn at across the map
- Bedroll respawn buttons now display which zone they were placed in
- Disabled /fall command while swimming
