Northwind Wiki

This update will enable the native role and some other stuff. This role is still a work in progress and you will notice that some features will be missing. Expect bugs. A lot of things changed in this update.

We’re also reducing the price of the game to 400 robux.

  • Added native role (PART ONE)
  • Added 6 craftable cosmetic hats
  • Added a fur cloak & hood.
  • Added animal leathers (processed from fur, used for new recipes)
  • Added leather dyes
  • Added harvestable fruit bushes around the southern part of the map
  • Added blackberries
  • Added strawberries
  • Added raspberries
  • Added crossbows, metal bolts and bolt quivers
  • Added sabre
  • Added new random gun sounds
  • Added light snow blowing in wind effect
  • Added deployable campfire & spit (works just like the campfire & grill but only requires wood logs)
  • Added bounty boards: Players can now interact with them to take and complete bounties
  • Added ability to drag animals (protip: yeet a rabbit by spinning your character then dropping it)
  • Short bandana can now be crafted
  • Changed blueberries model
  • Nerfed damage of all bows
  • Bows must now be drawn for an extra second to get full accuracy
  • Reduced respawn time to 5 seconds when downed in safezone
  • Downed screen now displays the reason for the respawn time (ae. inside safezone, bounty on head, etc.)
  • Decreased amount of arrows that can be put in a quiver
  • Slightly increased time to fill quiver If a sled & chest is inside a safezone, it can only be padlocked by its owner
  • Removed ability to store padlock keys to prevent players from accidentally storing them and losing access to their chest Items can no longer be stored in player remains
  • Player remains now disappear once fully looted
  • All shop items (except harvestable resources such as wood and ores) now slowly restock over time
  • Knapsacks now change size to represent the inventory space taken
  • Player characters now strictly load once they exit the menu. This should fix the issue where the menu breaks due to the characters respawning unexpectedly.
  • Blocked access to the SLC fort wall roofing and fixed hit detection issue
  • Added notification when attempting to hurt a safezoned player
  • Sitting on the barber chair will now lower the player's bandana
  • SLC handflags now display the bearer's division logo
  • Updated spear throwing animation
  • Dragging players (and now animals) no longer requires you to be crouched
  • Added craftable stone hatchet
  • Harvesting flax plants now places the flax leaves directly into your inventory
  • Tomahawks can now cut down trees (less efficient than axes)
  • Changed key to drag players to Y
  • Fixed fishing
  • Fixed barbershop making hair invisible for other players
  • Fixed animals emitting sounds when dead
  • Fixed mouse/camera staying locked after throwing a weapon
  • Fixed players getting kicked when joining because of fishing rods physics (hopefully)
  • Fixed non-native player characters occasionally having red skin
  • Fixed highlander hat and other equipment not being worn properly
  • Fixed bug where the bank would sometime let players deposit illegal items
  • Fixed bug where the character creation menu would display more matching names than there actually are
