Note

The note is a document that is sold from innkeepers. Notes can be renamed by any player who has them in their inventory, which allows the text of the note to change. They are often used for communication and advertisements by players at market stands. They can be looted from a player's corpse on islands with looting enabled, presumably as a way to intercept notes between players and between player factions.
