Overview

The Clark musket is a musket that can be crafted at Master Smithing or purchased from a Blacksmith. It Does 70 damage per bodyshot and 84 in the head. The Clark can mount a bayonet, which does 50 damage per hit. Boasting a 9.75 second reload speed, it is an excellent alternative to the Charleston musket for people that trade the accuracy for higher damage, at a decent reload speed.

The Clark musket is purchasable from any blacksmith for 118 Pounds, however it is not a restocked item. This means that a player must sell their Clark Musket to the Blacksmith for it to be on sale.

Function

The gun works well in close combat due to its poor accuracy but it's backed up by its higher damage and faster reload speed when compared to a rifle (e.g. Jager rifle, Milton rifle).

Crafting

The Clark Musket requires 5 Cosmetic Metal, 5 Cosmetic Wood, along with being a Master in Smithing.

Strategy

It is advised to use this gun at closer ranges because of its lower precision, but missing your shot isn't necessarily devastating since 12 seconds pass relatively quickly even in combat; therefore you may still get a chance to reload.
