The Brown Bess carbine, formerly known as the Whitney carbine, was a carbine-type primary weapon that was an exclusive weapon intended for members of the Hudson Bay Company.
Obtaining[]
In addition to being a member of the Hudson Bay Company, players can also obtain a Brown Bess carbine from Johannes von Mueller for £24.00, however, owning a Brown Bess carbine as a colonist would be illegal, and like the Brown Bess musket, it could not be insured or deposited in a bank.
